I was lucky enough to attend the PPITH (Personal Protection Inside The Home) course as well as the Refuse To Be A Victim course with Rich Marshall and his team. The class was very educational and exciting. It brought me back to my school days when working in the lab during science. We were able to see, touch and observe the props that were brought into class as well as demonstrate some of the items. I recommend Rich's teaching method and will advise that if interested in learning something that benefits you in life and the wellbeing of everyone please do not hesitate to sign up. These classes are designed for everyone from the expert to the novice that want to educate themselves on not just shooting but just being vigilant in today's society.  - Gerry Pierre

What can I say I learned ALOT from taking both the BoPs and the PPITH courses Marshall Safe Training provides. Richard is a phenomenal teacher that never hesitated to help better develop our opportunities as new shooters and new instructors. I am proud to say I successfully completed my NRA Shotgun Instructor course with Marshall Safe Training LLC. I must say I was very impressed with Richard Marshall's expertise and abilities as an instructor and the professional and safe manner in which he provides expert instruction. The course was thorough and comprehensive and very safe. Marshall stresses safety above all else, but he also emphasizes technique, hands on knowledge, and Total Participation Instruction with and on the part of his instructor students. He is very knowledgeable about shotguns and correct shooting techniques and, so highly skilled, knows how to correct bad habits. His course is well organized and managed and he sticks to a tight schedule as there are a lot of topics to be covered in his basic and advanced shotgun courses leading to the instructor's certificate. My time was well spent with Marshall Safe Training and I recommend his classes to anyone with an interest in shooting. He welcomes beginners. The basic pistol instructor course was a great experience!  The time taken by the instructors to ensure the students understood the why behind what was being taught was some of the best instruction I have experienced on any topic.  The course was well laid out and timing of topics was great with the right amount of time being given to those sub-topics requiring more focus and enough time for understanding sub-topics that were less complex.  Range time was great and well utilized.  On many military ranges the time prepping is excessive compared to the time firing, in this class it was the opposite, easy to understand range briefs and, commands and get to work, I loved it!    The additional time allowed for some of us was also greatly appreciated and showed the instructors actually cared about the shooting sports and turning out good fellow instructors.  I will certainly be back, I'm looking forward to the CCW, armed defense and refuse to be a victim classes in the future.  - Ralph G.

"I attended the NRA Pistol Instructor class presented by Rich Marshall at C2 Tactical in Scottsdale, AZ the weekend of February 15, 2019. As a result I have joined the proud ranks of NRA Certified Pistol Instructors !!! We have the opportunity to attend this class in several areas, but I am familiar with Rich Marshall and his training.  I first met him when I took my NRA RSO (Range Safety Officer) class in Prescott, AZ and I was very pleased with his program and presentation skills.  I sought out Rich Marshall  for the Pistol Instructor Class because of my RSO class experience with him, and I understood the commitment it takes to complete this class.  I am proud to have completed the course and feel my expectations were exceeded.  Rich Marshall is an incredible instructor/presenter, and the NRA has an excellent program of instruction for the credential of Certified Pistol Instructor. "​​I’ve  had the good fortune to take more than a few classes from Rich  Marshall.  Honestly, I cannot imagine anyone providing better instruction and guidance.  Rich is passionate about shooting and NRA  Training, as well as his students’ success.  He takes the time to make  sure you understand the materials, and can apply and/or teach that  information in a productive and suitable manner.  He will take the time  to make sure you handle the firearms safely and correctly,  and provides a plethora of hands-on experience for his students.  Rich can be found  before or after classes working with students on the range or in the  classroom, as the students require.  At some points a student’s weakness  will show, and Rich will help them through.  For example, I am not the  best public speaker, but I am getting better, thanks in large part to  Rich.  Rich takes every opportunity to build you up as a student and as  an instructor candidate.  He knows people stumble, but won’t let you, as  his student, fall.  Whether it is working on shooting fundamentals to  help a student pass a qualification, or just not letting you beat  yourself up for a nervous presentation, Rich is in your corner, I  consider this  the hallmark of a great instructor."   - Chris S.

"To  anyone who is seeking information and training for proper firearm  utilization and instructor certification it is highly recommended that  you contact Marshall Safe Training for your enrollment. I considered  myself a experienced and safe shooting enthusiast but it had been a long  time sine I had fired any type of firearm.
